Community tells local NHS Trust what's important
Almost 50 people came together at an event in Ellesmere Port to influence how local people can get involved in shaping local health care across Cheshire and Wirral.
Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) hosted the event where members of the public got together with senior leaders in healthcare to discuss the way forward in public and patient participation and recovery.
Sheena Cumiskey, Chief Executive at CWP, says: “The day was inspiring, we learned so much from listening to real life experiences and got an even better understanding of what is truly important to people who access our services. We are committed to meaningfully and continually involving our local communities and this flagship event has given us lots of renewed energy and ideas. By working together we can improve our services and ensure that the best quality of care and treatment is available for people when they need it."
