CWP tops table for staff engagement
CWP, has been placed at the top of the table for staff recommending it as a place to work or receive care.
The Trust tops the North West mental health table based on the last three years of national NHS Staff Survey results, according to leading trade publication The Health Service Journal.
CWP chief executive, Sheena Cumiskey, said: “I am extremely pleased that staff at CWP rate the Trust so highly. We have over 3,500 staff working in Cheshire, Wirral and others parts of Cheshire and Merseyside providing outstanding care and often going the extra mile to take care of the most vulnerable people in our communities.
Results like this give me every confidence that we are making great strides in our ambition to help people to be the best they can be… whether that be service users and carers, or colleagues in the NHS and our partner organisations.”
Mike Maier, Trust Chairman, adds: “The NHS Staff Survey is considered to be one of the best indicators of how well NHS Trusts are performing and provides invaluable insight into the quality of services people experience as a result.
“Sheena Cumiskey, the Trust’s chief executive, has also recently been named as one of only 11 NHS chief executives who have featured in the Health Service Journal’s Top 50 chief executives five times since the list began. These results are very welcome news for the local NHS.”
The Trust is encouraging more people to come forward to share their experiences of CWP services by completing their Friends and Family Survey available at www.cwp.nhs.uk.
