Sheena's Blog: Best Practice Event and AMM
As I write this blog today I am really excited as I am about to go to our Best Practice event. This is one of my highlights of the year where I can get to see and hear about all the great innovative practice that our very talented people who provide and access our services have developed. The second part of our day will be equally thrilling as it is our annual members meeting which includes our Annual Going the Extra Mile awards this part of the day hearing what people have achieved always makes me feel both proud and very humble.
Most of you will now have had your annual staff surveys to fill in. I got mine yesterday and I have begun to think about what I want to say about what is working well with the Trust in the spirit of continuous improvement what we can do different and better. I hope that you will be able to find the time to give us your view as they are very valuable.
Finally it is that time of year for flu jabs and I will be rolling up my sleeve to get mine done. I know that often people don’t think it is something that is of value but we do know that creating resilience in the population to flu does stop unnecessary suffering and harm for the most vulnerable people we care for who really suffer if they get flu.
Very best wishes,
