Recovery does not always refer to the process of complete recovery from a mental health problem in the way that we may recover from a physical health problem.
Everyone’s recovery journey will be different but should be led by the individual making decisions about their own lives, rather than simply doing what a health professional tells them.
The aim of the Recovery Toolbox is to offer a number of the most commonly used tools that can be used by anyone on their recovery journey – people using services, their families and carers and staff involved in delivering services.
The tools support people to capture what’s important and what matters to them as part of their recovery journey. People can select different tools at different stages of their journey.
