We’re opening a new urgent response health centre in Spring 2026.  In line with the ambitions of the national 10 Year Health Plan, the Trust are keen for the new unit to become a community base that belongs to everyone, with a new name to reflect this.We've had some great suggestions so far and now need your help to choose the final one.Here is some background information about the new centre:Based on the Countess of Chester Health Park, the new unit is an extension to the current Upton Lea community mental health resource centre, run by Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP). Once open, the new centre will be home to:​

  • Out-of-hours GP and District Nursing services
  • All-age 24-7 Mental Health Crisis Line team​
  • Children and Young People and Adults Crisis teams​
  • Community Mental Health teams​
  • Cardiac Rehabilitation services.
