Cheshire East

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) Macclesfield Eating Disorders Service offers outpatient support for adults with an eating disorder in East Cheshire. The team provides talking therapies, physical health advice and dietetic expertise.

CWP Macclesfield Eating Disorders Service is available for anyone with an eating disorder aged 18 or over at the time of referral.

Cheshire West 

CWP Eating Disorders Service offers outpatient support for adults with an eating disorder in West Cheshire. The team provides talking therapies, physical health advice and dietetic expertise.

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust Eating Disorder Service, is a specialist community service for adults over 18 years of age who have anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and atypical eating disorders. Our service aims to provide a safe and supportive space where individuals can develop an understanding of their difficulties and gain control over their eating disorder.

Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust offer support to people of any age, who have been diagnosed with/meet the diagnosis criteria for an eating disorder.

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust eating disorder service provides psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for adults (aged 16 and over) who are experiencing an eating disorder. Referrals for the eating disorder service, including the FREED pathway are accepted from GPs and other medical practitioners.

Mersey Care offer a range of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), delivered in both individual and group settings. Mersey Care also offer consultation to other services when direct working is not considered the most appropriate form of intervention.

To access the Warrington, Halton and Trafford Eating Disorder Service, please speak to a GP, social worker or any other health professional. They will be able to make a referral if they think our service can help.
