CWP wishes farewell to Julia
One of CWP’s longest-serving colleagues, Julia Cottier, Associate Director of Operations for Children, Young People and Families, has retired after 25 years with the organisation.
Beginning her career in Drug and Alcohol services in 1994, Julia played a key part in CWP’s journey throughout its formation as a Trust in 2002, a Foundation Trust in 2007 and beyond.
During that period Julia has held senior roles across mental health services, learning disability services and children’s services.
Passionate about supporting people who have served in the armed forces, she has been pivotal in the enhancement of local support for veterans, including CWP’s 2019 accreditation as a Veteran Aware NHS Trust.
Sheena Cumiskey, CWP Chief Executive, said: “On behalf the whole CWP family I’d like to thank Julia for what she has given throughout her wonderful career with us. She has been key to so many successes over the years and we will continue to benefit from her fantastic contribution for many more years to come.”
Julia said: “I have learned so much in the past 25 years from the people who use our services and from my colleagues within CWP and our partner agencies. I have been given so many opportunities that I will never forget and which I am sure will help me in the new adventures to come!”
