If you contact us about our Autism Strategy:

  • you will be listened to
  • you will be treated with respect
  • You can leave feedback without leaving any details about yourself
  • If you chose to leave your contact details, your personal details will be shared only with those people directly involved with processing and responding to your feedback
  • if you tell us you want us to get in touch, we will provide an initial response to you within 3 working days of receiving your feedback

Before you contact us: 

  • think about what you want to tell us in advance and ask someone like a friend, relative or carer for help, if needed.
  • consider writing down, or practising out loud, what you want to say first.
  • refer to the web-section, item (easy read, animation) or page number of the full Strategy you want to talk about. This helps us understand the issues which are important to you more quickly.
  • let us know if you want us to contact you with a response and which is the best way for us to do this
  • have your contact details ready to refer to so you can include them in your email
