This leaflet is about becoming a Member of Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP). CWP is a Foundation Trust that provides health services for local people in partnership with other organisations.

Our services include:

  • Mental health services
  • Learning disability services
  • Physical health services

Why become a member?

You will have the opportunity to get involved in the decisions we make and influence the way in which we plan and develop local services.

  • Have a say about the Trust and its services
  • Help to challenge stigma and discrimination
  • Shape the development of services for local people
  • Get invited to a range of events across CWP services
  • Learn about opportunities to get more involved if you want to
  • Can vote in Governor elections
  • Can stand for election as a Governor

Who can be a member?

Anyone aged 11 years old and over who has an interest in the work of CWP can become a member of the trust. Our aim is to get as many people as possible who use CWP services, their carers and families, to join us as a member. This will help make sure a variety of voices are heard and involved in our services.

How involved can I get?

We appreciate that all of our members are different and will want to have different levels of involvement with our Trust. How involved you become is completely up to you.

All you have to do to become a member is complete an application form.
