The Wirral Access Service provides mental health assessment and sign posting to other services, including secondary care services for mental health.
The service is made up of mental health nurses and an administration team.
The Wirral access service is available to anyone aged 18 or over at the time of referral.
To access the Wirral access service, please speak to a GP. They will be able to make a referral if they think our service can help. The Wirral access service will then work with you to decide what further help is required and they will draw up a plan of care. This might include a referral to counselling via your GP, referral to another specialist team, or providing you with information specific to your care needs.
