CWP have recently signed the Cheshire and Merseyside Anchor Institute Framework as a commitment to delivering social value and value within Cheshire and Merseyside.
The Framework, which underpins the Cheshire and Merseyside NHS Prevention Pledge, builds upon work that has taken place across Cheshire and Merseyside since becoming an NHS England Social Value Accelerator site in 2018.
Isla Wilson says: “Despite dramatic improvements over the last 20 years, Cheshire and Merseyside continues to experience widespread preventable illness and inequalities in health. By signing up to this framework we are demonstrating our commitment to embed prevention, address health inequalities by making every contact count whilst improving health and wellbeing.”
Dave Sweeney, Assistant Director Sustainability and Partnerships, NHS Cheshire and Merseyside says: “The Framework aligns with existing work programmes, such as the Marmot Programme, and is intended to be a process to pull together all the great examples of delivering social value across Cheshire and Merseyside, in one place. This is a significant, public demonstration that reflects positively on CWP’S commitment to social value and delivering value within Cheshire and Merseyside.”
