On Friday 22 November, more than 200 staff, service users, governors, members and external partners came together at Sycamore House in Ellesmere Port to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our Big Book of Best Practice.
The packed itinerary included a busy marketplace, with finalists from this year's Big Book of Best Practice hosting exhibitions to showcase their innovative quality improvement projects from across the Trust.
The event also featured an afternoon of workshops, including animal-assisted therapy with Home Safari, a mindful gardening session with the team behind Wirral Children and Young People's Mental Health Services community garden project, a virtual reality in healthcare demonstration, and a back pain management taster session.
Local artist Aleta Doran and Morag Scargill from the Friends of the Countess of Chester Country Park also came together to kindly deliver a free mindful sketching workshop, using beautiful and intricate items from nature such as dried flowers and shells as inspiration for participants.
At part of the event, CWP also hosted its Annual Members' Meeting, where the Annual Report and Accounts for 2023/24 were formally presented and CWP executive directors, along with Lead Governor Helen Nellist, recapped on key highlights and achievements from the 2023/24 financial year.
You can view a series of photos from the event, as well as a 2023/24 highlights video from the Annual Members' Meeting, below. You can also download the Big Book of Best Practice on the CWP website.
